Hospital scrubs

As part of my primary research for my FMP I have managed to get hold of some hospital surgery uniform pieces, I have been looking at how they are constructed and taken some of the design features for my collection.

Marbling fabric

My FMP is based around the brain so I am trying to convey the detailing in a subtle yet noticeable way, I don't want anything in your face!!!

So I have researched into the textiles world of marbling and I have carried out a few samples on some polyester silky fabric and some polyester cotton to see what the affect would be like and I have to say I am happy with the outcome and feel it would work well in my collection.

The colour I went for was a pale pink but in some sections its bright which I like, so now I just need to continue practising getting the right lines and texture on the fabric.
