Style crush- Cara Delevingne

Little miss popular hey Cara? The past few years Cara Delevingne has taken to the catwalks all over the world from modelling for Burberry to Chanel and even becoming an VS Angel this girl knows how to work the fashion industry! And me, myself can only wish to be her! Ok yes I cant say I don't have her on Twitter or Instagram because I do and she comes across such a character in herself, funny and beautiful.. Who doesn't want to be her??

Her style is very different and her day to day looks I have seen seem to be very casual and relaxed but still she has that little edge to her which I likey. Her dark dark eyebrows and light blonde hair makes everyone just fall for her (''Justin Bieber the believer'' defiantly likes her as seen at this years VS show). She has a beautiful tiny figure with amazingly long legs which Im sure is why she gets scouted from ear to ear! I really don't think Cara's schedule is going to be quiet during Fashion week this year either. So for know ill just carry on dreaming I am her!

X Factor Final 2012

Ok so yes this woman is very hit and miss in my eyes, one minute I love her the next she's everywhere and Im sick of her but nobody can deny just amazing she is when it comes to style. She is a woman of anything, one week she can pull off a pixie chop then the next she can pull off bright red curl locks. When if comes to clothing I think her personality shines through which is what fashion is all about. Rihanna's latest wow factor outfits were the leather trousers she's wore in Germany and the white dress she wore at the X Factor Final, I actually want that dress. The detail on it is just incredible and I love  the patch work of the fabric. She is an icon in herself and her choice of clothing will carry on wowing us for years to come.

Modelling a painting shoot

Historical painting

Final image
For this brief each one of us has had to choose a painting and my fellow friend asked me to  model for her, I couldn't really say no which was fine anyway as I was happy to do it. After agreeing I sat and thought about it and looked at her photo as realised that I don't really have a good pose never mind the ability to stay still for a long time, but hey ho. One the day it was very stressful as my shoot was literally minutes between me modelling and me styling my shoot (I felt much more comfortable doing my own than being the model). Putting aside we have literally minutes to get ready and I had to squeeze into the dress, I think the outcome is very good and it defiantly portrays the painting in a strong way. They way photoshop has been used to create the effect really pulls the image together. I did enjoy doing this task but I would much prepare to be behind the camera rather than in front haha.

Well, today was one of my favourite days so far in college! I had everything prepared ready for my shoot so there was no stress there until things got all mixed up with my model and my friends model had to step in for me so thank you Georgia! Overall the shoot went extremely well, the hair and make up worked out as planned and up to now I cant think of anything i would have changed. With being so prepared and ready since having the discussions with my photographers my shoot really didn't last very long and the 1st image they took was spot on. Im really looking forward to seeing the final images, all i have to do for now if seen the background to the photographers so they can do all the photoshopping and what not haha. Keep a look out for my final images!

P.s I love styling!!!!

How I left it today, adjustments to be made tomorrow

Today I have spent all day making this for my shoot tomorrow, I have still got to make some adjustments as I'm not over the moon with the outcome at the moment but I will be able to do that tomorrow. Ive also been planning how to have the hair and make up which has been fun and I'm sure my sister is sick of me using her as a model for that now! haha. I am looking forward to working with the photographers tomorrow as I think it will be a challenge, which I like. Up to know I'm all sorted but my list seems to be getting bigger every time I think of something knew. Fingers crossed I don't forget anything. Ill keep you posted on how it goes, Wish me luck...
