Box Dress Photo Shoot

Yesterday I did a photo shoot for my FMP from last year, I styled it very simple as I wanted the garment to do the talking! Ive got some editing I still need to do to get them perfect but heres a little peak at some of the shots...

These two images below are my favourites! 

Im going to do some strong stitch lines in the background on the first picture to reflect the stitching detail on my garment and I want to try and photoshop all the other images together to create a three way image capturing all different views of the body and garment

Phillip Lim

Within my new brief its mainly all based on illustration which I am very fond of in my own little way. Ive been researching into Contemporary and Historical illustrators and Phillip Lim's style really stood out to me...

Phillip Lim is a well-known contemporary fashion designer who shows at New York Fashion Week annually. As an illustrator he has a very simple, slick and quick style that conveys shape and imagination. His designs are simple and have a target audience of RTW. The media he uses is a form of ink such as brio, water based ink or marker pen. His silhouette is elongated and has a contemporary and coherent feel to it. I enjoy looking at Lim’s work as I like the freshness and the way he uses clear lines to show his figure.
